About Me

Who am I?

I was born in Chicago, but my parents are from Mexico. I am scared of heights. I don't believe in choosing favorites, there are simply just things I like more than others. I like to travel in a car because I always get get new experience and I see beautiful landscapes. I have traveled to Missouri, Ohio, Wisconsin, Mississippi, Alabama, Minnesota, Michigan New York, Canada and Nicaragua. Some of the things I like to do is watch TV., and dance to latin music for example Salsa, Bachata, and Cumbia. I love to feel my latin roots and take into consideration other cultures, I like learning about them. I am bilingual, I speak Spanish and English and I am working on my third language. Currently I am a model, a display image and host of a radio show (on the internet) of a photography studio called GM Studios. Over my first travel summer I went to Canada for a cultural immersion and I learned some French. I also went to Nicaragua for community service and to teach English. I also had my Sweet 15 which I had a good time with my friends and family.

Why GCE?

To be honest I didn't imagine myself going to a private high school. I came to the open house and I liked it. I decide to attend GCE because it’s different and smaller which I think I can work better. GCE is different because their academic teaching is unique and it gives us students a different mentality of the world. GCE has given me the opportunity to come out of my shell, to be open, to have more confidence in myself and most importantly to have a voice. I have grown so much because GCE has always given me support and encouragement to do things and to challenge myself.

Why Blog?

This blog is a digital portfolio for colleges to look at. This blog lets my audience know who I am through my work and the type of work I do. Besides showing my academic work, I have also blogged my extra curricular activities, such as music and academic programs.
